These people may be less popular than movie or television actors and actresses, but that hardly means that they are any less talented. In fact, some may contend that these people are even more talented than the aforementioned two because stage and theater performers are thought to have more extensive classical training (this is not necessarily true, but that's the perception). Actors trained for the stage can sing, dance, and have no qualms about character acting – meaning that they aren't afraid to be ugly when portraying particular characters at all, as opposed to some actors and actresses in television or movies that are perfectly content in being typecast as leading men and leading ladies. There are, of course, limitations facing them – they are less known compared to movie and television performers because for the most part stages stay put and performances on stage do not usually get broadcast or filmed (legally).
That being said, they do have fans, and you who are few but of distinguished taste can talk about their body of work and their latest show here. Whether you are into musicals, one-act affairs, full-length comedies and dramas, or one-man (or woman) shows, you are welcome to share with us your opinion on the performances of you favorite or least liked stage actor or actress. Limited to stage body of work, of course.
